Rahul Gandhi: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is on a US tour these days. On Wednesday, he held a meeting with Silicon Valley-based startup entrepreneurs. During this, he again raised the issue of phone tapping and targeted the central government. Rahul Gandhi while talking about Pegasus and other issues said that he knew that his phone was being tapped but he was not bothered by it, not only that Rahul picked up his phone and jokingly said ‘Hello! Mr Modi’
Rahul Gandhi said, I think my iPhone is being tapped. You as a nation and also as an individual need proper rules on protection of data. He said that if any country wants to tap your phone, no one can stop it. This is my understanding. Rahul said, “If the country is interested in phone tapping, it is not a battle worth fighting. I feel that whatever work I do, everything is in front of the government.
Let us tell you that Rahul had come to interact with the entrepreneurs of Artificial Intelligence at ‘Plug and Play Tech Center’ in Sunnyvale. During this, Indian Overseas Congress chief Sam Pitroda was also present with him. Rahul also talked about technology connecting people in remote villages of India and its implications.
