Maharashtra Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis, keeping his opinion on the ongoing ruckus regarding Aurangzeb, said that nationalist Muslims do not believe in Aurangzeb. Aurangzeb’s ancestors were not from India. They came from outside. While our leader is Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
Fadnavis said on Sunday that no Muslim is a descendant of Aurangzeb nor does he consider the Mughal emperor as his leader. The deputy CM also hit out at Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi chief Prakash Ambedkar for visiting Aurangzeb’s tomb in Aurangabad district and asked Shiv Sena (UBT) president Uddhav Thackeray whether he approved of his act.
Who are the descendants of Aurangzeb?
He said, “How can Aurangzeb be our leader? Our king is only one and that is Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Muslims in India, even they are not descendants of Aurangzeb. Tell me who are the descendants of Aurangzeb? Where did Aurangzeb and his ancestors come from? The nationalist Muslims in this country do not support him and consider only Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj as their leader.”
Used to worship Hitler like God
Hitting out at Ambedkar for visiting Aurangzeb’s tomb, Fadnavis asked him what was the need to do so. He asked, “Ambedkar says that Aurangzeb ruled our country for a long time. That’s why Hitler also ruled Germany. Many people worshiped Hitler like a god. Didn’t expect this from you. Uddhav Thackeray has tied up with Ambedkar, so will you accept this work of Ambedkar?”
Thackeray backstabs BJP
He said, “When Thackeray back-stabbed the BJP and joined hands with the Congress-NCP to form the Maha Vikas Aghadi government, I had said I would come back. I not only returned to power, but also brought Eknath Shinde with me as chief minister.”
Insults said against PM Modi and Amit Shah
Fadnavis said that late Balasaheb Thackeray had once said that instead of joining hands with the Congress and the NCP, he would shut down his party. But Uddhav ji kept aside his ideology and spoke cheap things against PM Modi and Amit Shah. Speaking about the meeting of opposition parties in Bihar to be held on June 23, he said that in a photograph taken in 2019 of the same leaders, there were 52 leaders, but the main opposition Congress could win only 48 seats.
