PM Modi’s address on paddy created uproar, Congress targeted

Chhattisgarh: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s address on paddy, which reached Raipur on Thursday, has created upheaval in the politics of the state. He said that more than 80% of the paddy purchased by the state government is the share of the central government. Means the same percentage will be the share in the expenditure. This statement given by Modi is not acceptable to the Congress. As soon as the Prime Minister left, PM Modi’s allegations were retaliated by holding a press conference in Anan Phanan. The Congress retorted on this claim of the BJP and said that if the central government did not buy rice from Chhattisgarh, it would not be able to provide rice to the poor of the country. On this argument of Congress, BJP also retorts and asks why requests are made to increase the amount of paddy lifted in the central pool when there is no cooperation from the Centre.

Both the parties are trying to prove through counter-attack that they are well wishers of the farmers of Chhattisgarh and no one wants to lag behind on paddy politics. The season is of rain and also of paddy planting. PM Modi bought paddy but surrounded Bhupesh Sarkar. On the other hand, Rahul Gandhi was seen transplanting paddy in the fields in Sonipat, Haryana. When it comes to farmers, these pictures become important in politics. With the bite of Congress, BJP, Aam Aadmi Party, there can be a journalist in the package and debate.
