The political atmosphere across the country has heated up regarding the Lok Sabha elections 2024. Opposition parties have already opened a front against the Modi government, under which the second meeting of the opposition is going to be held in Bengaluru, the capital of Karnataka today. Earlier, Samajwadi Party MP Ram Gopal Yadav made a big statement.
Actually Samajwadi Party is also in favor of opposition unity, under which it is participating in all the meetings. Before the meeting on Monday, the media asked its leader Ram Gopal Yadav whether it would benefit in the 2024 elections, to which he said that the direction of 2024 would change with this meeting.
On the other hand, the opposition parties had also sent an invitation to SP supremo Akhilesh Yadav. He will attend today’s meeting. Earlier, he had also attended the meeting in Patna. There he prepared a strategy to defeat the BJP. Also talked about working together with the opposition parties.
Congress is hosting
The first meeting of the opposition was held in Patna in June. Nitish Kumar had hosted during that time. This time the Congress has taken up the responsibility, hence Bengaluru was chosen. It is believed that 24 opposition parties will attend the meeting.
