Prime Minister Modi had given a statement in support of UCC in Bhopal on the previous day. The BJP seems to be getting the principled support of the Aam Aadmi Party on this issue. AAP’s organization general secretary Sandeep Pathak said that the Aam Aadmi Party supports the Uniform Civil Code in principle.
Sandeep Pathak said on Wednesday, ‘Article 44 also says that there should be a UCC, but the Aam Aadmi Party believes that this issue should be discussed with all religions and political parties. It should be implemented only after everyone’s consent.

Targeting the BJP and PM Modi regarding the UCC, AAP leader Sandeep Pathak said that whenever elections come in the working style of the Bharatiya Janata Party, they bring complicated and complex issues.
Pathak further said, ‘BJP has nothing to do with implementing UCC and solving this issue. BJP only creates state of confusion. So that a divide can be created in the country and then elections can be contested. Because if Prime Minister Narendra Modi had worked in the last 9 years, he would have taken the support of work. The Prime Minister does not have the support of work, so he will take the support of UCC.
