Elon Musk replied to Jack Dorsey’s allegations on the Government of India, ‘All we can do is that the country…’

Recently, Jack Dorsey, co-founder of Twitter, while giving an interview to a channel, made serious allegations against the Government of India. When Dorsey was asked whether he was pressured by any government while in Twitter? So in response to this he took the names of India and Turkey. Dorsey said that the Indian side had received threats of agencies raiding officials’ homes and shutting down Twitter. During the farmer’s movement, some Twitter accounts were asked to be closed by the Government of India, for not doing so, they were threatened with consequences. To which the current owner of Twitter, Elon Musk has replied.

After meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the US, Elon Musk was questioned on Dorsey’s allegations, in response to which Musk said that ‘Twitter does not have much choice, it has to follow the government and the laws’.

In fact, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a three-day US visit, where Elon Musk came in front of the media after meeting Tesla CEO and Twitter’s new owner Elon Musk and described himself as Modi’s fan. Meanwhile, when a journalist questioned him about Jack Dorsey’s allegations against the Indian government, he said, “Twitter has no option but to listen to the local governments. We will be shut down if we don’t follow the laws of the local governments, all we can do is follow the laws of the country, it is impossible for us to do more.”

Elon Musk further said that governments have different rules and regulations, we can try our best to promote free speech while living under these laws.
