Vavilla Chidvilas Reddy of Hyderabad zone has topped the JEE-Advanced, the joint entrance exam for admission to the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). The officers provided this information. He told that the results of JEE-Advanced exam were declared on Sunday.
According to IIT Guwahati, which conducted the exam this year, Reddy scored 341 out of 360 marks. According to officials, Nayakanti Naga Bhavya Shree from IIT Hyderabad zone topped among girls by scoring 298 marks.
A senior official of IIT Guwahati said, a total of 1,80,372 candidates appeared in the examination for both the papers of IIT-JEE Advanced. Out of these, 36,204 boys and 7,509 girls cleared the JEE Advanced 2023 exam. JEE-Mains, the entrance exam conducted for admission to engineering colleges across the country, is the qualifying exam for JEE-Advanced. This exam was conducted on June 4.
