‘Odisha train accident shouldn’t be politicised’: Anurag Thakur’s advice to opposition

The opposition is continuously targeting the central government over the train accident in Balasore, Odisha. The opposition is demanding the resignation of Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav. Now the statement of Union Minister Anurag Thakur has come to the fore in which he has advised the opposition not to do politics on every issue.

Union Minister Anurag Thakur said, ‘The government has done the work of giving full cooperation from its side. The reason behind the incident will also be investigated in detail. But right now it is necessary to help the injured, treat them completely and make them healthy. We wish everyone a speedy recovery. But those who are no more with us due to this accident, we are with their families in their time of grief. An announcement has also been made for Rs 10 lakh each for the dead. An announcement has been made to give Rs 2 lakh each for those who are seriously injured. An announcement has also been made to give Rs 50,000 to those who have suffered minor injuries.

Anurag Thakur says that political parties should not do politics on this. This is a big accident in the country in which a large number of people lost their lives, but the steps that the government should have taken have been taken after this accident. And whatever needs to be raised in the future, will be raised.

Anurag Thakur further said that in such a situation the whole country should come together. He said that it is not necessary to do politics all the time and on every issue. On some issues, the whole country, society and political parties should come together.
